NEWFANE, NY: Please join us on Sunday August 25, 2024 for the 2nd Annual Newfane 5K! The race will start and finish at Miller Hose Company and features a great course through residential neighborhoods. The event is hoping to raise much needed funds for the Miller Hose Company and your support is very much appreciated.
Event organizers are offering a 1 Mile (non-timed) Family Fun Run that will start at 8:30am and a 5K run that will start at 9am. All fun run participants will receive a finisher medal for participating along with bottled water and light snacks after the race back at the fire hall.Newfane 5K t-shirts guaranteed to all 5K Run participants who register before Saturday August 17th. A small quantity of extra shirts will be ordered and distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis. Post race celebration includes fruit, snacks, and bottled water. There will be music at the finish line and awards will be announced after the race at the pavilion.

Can't participate on race day or perhaps you grew up in Newfane and now live outside the area. You can run or walk 5K (3.1 miles) on your own between 8/15/24 and 9/15/24 and still support the cause!
START/FINISHThe 5K race will start at 9am on McKee Street in front of the Fire Hall. The kids Fun Run will start at 8:30am at the same location. The finish line will be located in the small parking lot adjacent to the fire hall (east side).

The post race celebration and awards ceremony will take place under the pavilion located behind the fire hall. Participants will receive bottled water at the finish line and fruit/light snacks will be available to all runners after the race.
